Who We Are

Welcome to Play Greenpoint where a child can be
a child. A place where all children are free to play, explore, learn, and express themselves through our Montessori-inspired hands-on activities. Play Greenpoint features two distinct spaces covering the needs of children from birth to 8 years old: Play Kids
is our award winning afterschool center & New York City’s only eco-birthday venue, and The Play Lab is our early educational center, nature-inspired playspace, and home to The Nest, Brooklyn’s first bilingual separation program.
THE PLAY LAB
The Play Lab is our early educational center & low-stimulation playspace for children ages 0-7. A beloved neighborhood institution, The Play Lab is a valuable resource for young families to socialize, learn, and play. Unlike the typical arcade-style playspaces, our play-structures take their inspiration from the natural world while our green toxin-free toys ensure little ones’ safety and our sensory-rich space continually challenges little bodies and minds as they grow. Our new bilingual
separation program, The Nest, will begin this fall.
PLAY KIDS
Play Kids is our award-winning afterschool and birthday party venue for children ages 4 - 8. Whether it’s STEM, Art, Sports, & Language Classes, Day Camps, Sustainable Birthday Parties, or drop-off Movie Night, Play Kids has something for the entire family.
Our philosophy is rooted in Montessori-inspired hands-on experiential learning and play. Our classes are carefully selected to provide your child with a holistic learning experience. With over ten years working hand-in-hand alongside our local Brooklyn community,
Play Kids is considered a hallmark of excellence
in out-of-school education.

and earth-friendly learning environment for all children.
Founded by local mom & educator, Magda Lahliti,
the pioneer of low-stimulation play spaces,
we collaborate with our Brooklyn community, working together
to serve the needs of local families and beyond.
COMMUNITY
Our goal is to be an essential and supportive hub for families, offering a diverse array of programs under one eco-friendly roof including STEM, art, sports, language classes, and free community events. At Play Greenpoint, we understand the value of mind-body learning, connection with our earth, and the importance of Play. We're committed to nurturing tomorrow's creative, kind, and independent thinkers today.
